These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Statuswalla mobile application and website (the "App" / "Platform"), owned and operated by STUDX MANAGEMENT PRIVATE LIMITED (the "Company", "We", "Us", or "Our"). By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance & Eligibility
By using Statuswalla you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or are using the App with the consent of a parent or legal guardian) and that you are capable of entering into a legally binding agreement. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.
2. The Service
Statuswalla provides daily status updates, quotes, wishes, greetings and shareable post-generation (poster) templates that you can personalise and share on social media and messaging platforms. Certain content and features are available only to subscribers of a premium plan.
3. Subscription Terms & Service Terms
To ensure continuous, automated delivery of creative status updates, templates and social-media sharing mechanics, the App uses an automated recurring billing subscription framework:

3.1 UPI Autopay Mandate Execution
When selecting the ₹1 Trial Access Plan, you explicitly authorise and establish an automated UPI Autopay subscription mandate within your third-party UPI application (e.g., Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM). Upon the expiration of the 24-hour trial period, the mandate automatically triggers a recurring charge of ₹199 per month.
In full compliance with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) e-mandate directives, pre-debit notifications are issued directly by the payment networks / banks via SMS or email prior to the processing of any recurring charge.
4. License to Use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, the Company grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the App for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment, and to share content generated through the App on social and messaging platforms.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, defamatory or infringing purpose.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to extract the source code or content libraries of the App.
- Resell, redistribute or commercially exploit the content libraries except as expressly permitted.
- Interfere with, disrupt or compromise the security or integrity of the Platform.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, templates, designs, trademarks, logos and software made available through the App are the property of the Company or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Content you personalise remains subject to these Terms and the rights of the underlying template owners.
7. Cancellation & Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time by revoking the UPI Autopay mandate within your UPI application. Refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Indemnification & Limitation of Liability
8.1 Limitation of Liability
Under no conditions shall STUDX MANAGEMENT PRIVATE LIMITED, its directors, officers or operators be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages resulting from temporary platform downtime, background lag, or network connectivity constraints.
8.2 Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Company against any legal actions, claims, consumer complaints or associated costs (including legal counsel fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, or from unauthorised chargeback declarations to banks.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at our discretion if you breach these Terms or use the Platform in a manner that is fraudulent, abusive or harmful to other users or to the Company.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of India. Any disputes or interpretation conflicts arising out of these Terms shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Pune, Maharashtra, India.
11. Grievance Redressal
For any complaint or grievance relating to the App, your subscription, payments or your personal data, you may contact our Grievance Officer. We acknowledge and resolve every grievance within 72 hours of receipt.
