This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to subscriptions purchased within the Statuswalla app, operated by STUDX MANAGEMENT PRIVATE LIMITED. To ensure platform financial sustainability and to prevent digital payment fraud or systemic chargeback abuse, our refund rules are constrained and non-negotiable.
You are always in control of your billing. You can stop all future charges at any time by cancelling your UPI Autopay mandate from your UPI app — see the cancellation steps below.
1. Sole Exception: Platform-Side Technical Failure
A refund request will only be reviewed or approved if there is a verified, persistent technical malfunction originating exclusively from our application's server-side infrastructure:
- A payment gateway confirms a successful financial debit, but our server-side infrastructure fails to provision or unlock premium status / content tools within 48 business hours.
- A system error executes a double billing-cycle charge for an identical unique user profile within a single 30-day membership window.
2. Explicit Exclusions (Strictly Non-Refundable)
The following occurrences represent user negligence and are strictly invalid grounds for refund claims. No exceptions will be entertained under any circumstances:
- Accidental recharges or activations: claiming an unauthorised party or family member initialised the subscription trial without your direct oversight.
- Forgetfulness to cancel UPI Autopay: failing to cancel, delete or pause the active UPI Autopay mandate inside your UPI app prior to the automated monthly billing renewal date.
- Change of mind or low personal utility: claiming subjective dissatisfaction with the templates, or failing to actively open the application during the membership period.
- Device incompatibility: failing to verify whether your mobile operating system version supports our content-sharing features prior to billing.
3. How to Cancel Your Subscription
Users maintain full autonomy over their billing cycles. Cancellations must be managed manually by the user within their respective third-party UPI app (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, BHIM, etc.) by revoking the specific mandate registered to StudX Management Private Limited.
- Open your UPI app (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm or BHIM).
- Go to the Autopay / Mandates / Subscriptions section.
- Find the active mandate registered to StudX Management Private Limited / Statuswalla.
- Select Cancel, Pause or Revoke the mandate to stop all future charges.
Once a monthly subscription fee is processed, access remains active for the remainder of the billed period, and no fractional or prorated refunds will be issued.
4. Requesting a Refund Under the Eligible Exception
If you believe you qualify for a refund under Section 1 above, email us within 7 days of the charge at support@studx.in with your registered phone number, the transaction ID and a short description of the issue. Verified, eligible refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
5. Grievance Redressal & Contact
For any complaint or grievance regarding a payment, subscription or refund, you may contact our Grievance Officer. We acknowledge and resolve every grievance within 72 hours of receipt.
